A tasty recipe for succulent organic beef buffalo ribs (or short ribs as they are alternatively known). You need to marinade the ribs overnight so start a day ealier than when you want to eat them.
This recipe is for 6 ribs, our organic beef ribs are quite large so we recommend 1 per person or two for hearty eaters, so will suit 3-6 people depending on appetites!Order our organic beef buffalo ribs INGREDIENTS
6 organic beef buffalo (short) ribs
250ml Soy Sauce
250 ml sherry
2 inch cube of Ginger - grated
6 garlic cloves crushed
1/2 tablespoon sugar
1/2 teaspoon dry mustard powder
1 tablespoon Honey to basteMETHODOvernight
Mix together all ingredients bar honey in a bowl
Lay ribs in a ceramic dish
Pour marinade over ribs
Marinade overnight in fridge.Next Day
Cover dish with foil and place in oven 120 degrees C for 6- 8 hours
Remove ribs and place either on a bar- b- que or on a rack in a hot oven basting with sauce mixed with honey at a regular intervals.
Cook for approxiamately 30 minutes until well browned all over
We enjoy these with salad and cous cous but you could also add a jacket potato.
